How the MamaPoints reward chart works

Four steps, the same every day. Try them here: type, tap and approve.

  1. Plan it in your own words

Add a chore or routine, or just describe it to Mama AI. You check it before anything is saved.

  2. Your child sees it and does it

The kids app shows what is available now. When it's done, they tap "I did it!" and can add a photo.

  3. You approve with one tap

Glance at the photo, approve, and the stars land in your child's balance straight away.

Questions parents ask

Can't find your answer? Email info@mamapoints.app and a real person will reply.

What is MamaPoints?

MamaPoints is a chore chart and reward app made of two apps that work together. Parents use MamaPoints to plan tasks, routines and family events and to approve finished tasks. Children use MamaPoints Kids to see what to do next, mark tasks done and earn stars they can save for rewards the family agrees on.

What age is MamaPoints Kids for?

MamaPoints Kids is designed for children aged about 5 to 10. It uses large buttons, pictures and read-aloud text, so early readers can follow their day without help.

Does my child need an email address or an account?

No. Children never create accounts. You add your child in the parent app, then open MamaPoints Kids on their device, enter the 6-character family code and choose their name. That's it.

How does the reward chart work?

Each task is worth a number of stars that you set. When your child finishes a task, you approve it, optionally after seeing a photo, and the stars land in their balance. Children save stars toward rewards from a catalogue you control, such as a movie night, a park trip or extra play time.

Is MamaPoints safe for children?

Yes. There are no ads, no in-app chat with strangers and no public profiles. Task photos are only visible to your family. Ask Panda, the kids' helper, is set up for children, avoids adult topics and never asks for personal details, and you can switch it off or set a daily limit.

Can two parents or a caregiver use it together?

Inviting a partner or caregiver to share your family is coming soon. Today, the parent who creates the family manages it, and each child can use MamaPoints Kids on their own device or a shared one.

Which phones does MamaPoints work on?

Both apps are built for iPhone and Android phones and tablets. They are launching soon on the App Store and Google Play. Email us for early access.

What is Mama AI?

Mama AI is an optional helper in the parent app. Describe something in your own words, like "Zaim reads for 20 minutes every weekday after school", and it suggests the task, routine or event for you to check before anything is saved.
